Sales Consultant - Custom Residential Installations A well-established residential specialty distributor is hiring a Sales Consultant to support custom, design-driven installations in high-end homes. This role focuses on managing inbound opportunities, conducting site visits, and guiding homeowners and trade partners through the consultation and installation process. This is a field-based, consultative role -- not an outbound prospecting or cold-calling position. Please note, we will not be accepting relocation candidates for this position, and candidates must live within a reasonable commute to Poughkeepsie, NY to be considered. Compensation & Benefits * $85,000 base salary * Performance-based bonus * Medical benefits * Company vehicle for sales and site visits * Company-provided cell phone and iPad What You 'll Do * Meet with homeowners and trade partners for on-site consultations * Guide clients through design options, product selection, and installation planning * Manage and convert inbound leads and referrals * Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project delivery * Serve as a professional point of contact throughout the project lifecycle * Represent the company professionally in high-end residential environments What This Role Is (and Isn 't) ?
