Job Title: Sales Manager Department: Sales Reports To: Director of Sales Job Overview The Sales Manager is responsible for driving new revenue and expanding existing accounts by selling EXPO's general contracting services to event organizers, show managers, and corporate clients. This role owns the full sales cycle--from prospecting and proposal through contract execution and post-event follow-up--while serving as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Prospect, qualify, and close new business while maintaining and growing existing client accounts. * Own all sales activity from initial outreach through contract execution and post-event reconciliation. * Accurately document all sales activity in NetSuite or other CRM tools. * Lead all client-facing sales communication including proposals, budgets, and timelines. * Prepare and manage initial master budgets. * Draft, negotiate, and execute sales contracts. * Maintain consistent client touchpoints via phone, email, video calls, and in-person meetings. * Serve as liaison between clients and internal departments. * Participate in internal sales meetings and lead client meetings. * Ensure accurate invoicing and follow up on deposits and balances. * Maintain knowledge of EXPO's products and services and upsell when appropriate. * Build relationships with venues and industry partners. * Attend networking events and client entertainment activities. Requirements & Skills * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * 2+ years of sales experience; event industry experience preferred. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Special Conditions * Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel required. * Limited remote work may be permitted.
