Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and promoting our products to drive sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales * Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked * Handle stock replenishment and organize inventory on shelves * Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist with phone etiquette by answering questions and providing information over the phone * Supervise or assist in supervising team members when necessary, ensuring smooth store operations Qualifications * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores * Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures * Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette * Ability to perform retail math including basic addition, subtraction, and percentages for upselling and transactions * Bilingual skills are a plus for serving a diverse clientele * Experience with product demos, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management is desirable * Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional attitude * Supervising experience is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are a plus * Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions Join our team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences while developing your sales expertise in a supportive environment.
