As a Business Journal account executive, you'll be responsible for driving revenue by building meaningful, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. * Prospect and develop high-quality leads using a structured, repeatable sales process * Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual performance goals * Grow and diversify your client base by offering strategic, multi-platform advertising solutions * Develop and present customized marketing proposals aligned with client business objectives * Manage your sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue gaps using Salesforce * Build strong market knowledge and business acumen across industries * Network with local business leaders and attend Business Journal events and programs hiring sales B2BSales Requirements: * 1-3 years of sales, business development, or client-facing experience preferred * Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a desire to outperform expectations * Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior-level professionals * Ability to balance short-term wins with long-term relationship building * Highly organized with strong time-management and follow-through skills * Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams * Curious, coachable, and eager to learn and grow * Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Req Benefits: Per Company Compensation: $117,000 to $135,000+ (Earning Potential includes Base + Uncapped Commission)
