Full description of the position

Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a rapidly growing fintech lending platform and its sister private credit firm to expand their business development and deal origination efforts. Together, they provide short-term business loans and collateralized private credit solutions to growing companies across the U.S. We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Executive who brings an established book of business, deep broker relationships, and a proven ability to drive immediate deal flow. Responsibilities : * Bring immediate deal flow by leveraging an existing book of business and broker network * Source, qualify, and manage short-term business loan opportunities from brokers and referral partners * Act as the primary point of contact between brokers and the underwriting team * Ensure clean, complete submissions to underwriting to enable fast approvals and funding * Set, track, and report on KPIs to measure individual and team performance * Manage and mentor 2 -3 Business Development Representatives / Managers * Strengthen and expand broker relationships through consistent communication and reliability * Collaborate closely with underwriting and leadership to streamline deal execution Qualifications/Background Profile : * 5+ years of experience (ideally 10+ years) in short-term business lending, alternative finance, private credit, or merchant cash advance * A proven book of business with active broker relationships (similar to a senior loan officer profile) * Demonstrated history of bringing deals , not just managing inbound leads * Strong understanding of underwriting requirements and deal structuring * Experience working with fast deal cycles and high transaction volume * Leadership experience managing or mentoring business development teams * Well-spoken, professional, and confident dealing with brokers and senior stakeholders - This job is In-Person.
