Full description of the position
Position Summary: The Fleet Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business, government, and commercial clients to sell vehicles in volume. This role requires a strategic, customer-focused professional who can meet sales targets, grow accounts, and ensure a seamless and high-touch client experience. Key Responsibilities: * Develop new business through prospecting and networking with local businesses, government agencies, and corporate fleets * Maintain relationships with existing fleet accounts to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction * Prepare and present vehicle purchase proposals tailored to fleet customer needs * Understand fleet pricing, incentives, and manufacturer programs * Coordinate with internal departments (finance, service, logistics) to manage vehicle ordering, upfitting, and delivery * Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards * Track and report sales activity and pipeline using CRM software * Attend industry events, expos, and meetings to generate leads and promote dealership presence * Maintain current knowledge of vehicle models, features, and industry trends * Meet or exceed monthly and annual fleet sales goals Qualifications: * Proven success in automotive, B2B, or fleet sales (2+ years preferred) * Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills * Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously * Valid driver's license with clean driving record * Strong knowledge of vehicle specs, fleet financing, and business lease options * Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills * Proficiency in CRM and dealership management software Working Conditions: * On-site and off-site business visits required * May involve occasional evenings or weekends for client meetings or events * Requires local travel for client development and vehicle deliveries Compensation: 18% Commission front and backWendle Motors
