Retail Sales Experience is required at least 1 year Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience * Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and conducting product demos when appropriate * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing * Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays, ensuring products are well-presented. * Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely * Support the store's merchandising strategies to attract customers and boost sales performance Qualifications * Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions * Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and standing for extended periods * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor * Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a grocery environment is advantageous but not required * Basic math skills to handle cash transactions confidently and accurately Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise.
