Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Store Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the store. Key duties include managing inventory, assisting customers with product inquiries and demonstrations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities * Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring proper merchandising standards are maintained. * Assist customers with inquiries, provide product demonstrations, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. * Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for accurate transaction processing and cash handling. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment to support efficient operations. * Supervise and support other store or warehouse staff, offering guidance on best practices in stocking and customer service. * Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Perform basic math and inventory calculations to ensure accurate stock management. * Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers, demonstrating strong interpersonal and phone etiquette skills. Requirements * Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred. * Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as multilingual abilities enhance customer experience. * Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cashiering procedures is an asset. * Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus. * Knowledge of store operations, product placement, and inventory management is advantageous. * Basic math proficiency is required for handling transactions and stock assessments.
