Parks Metals ( sister company to Vascular Technology Inc ) in Aloha, OR is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Rep to grow our sheet metal business. Outside Sales Representative - local candidates only need apply Parks Metals offers customers a one-stop metal shop for all of their precision sheet metal and machining needs. From start to finish, our processes utilize cutting-edge software, equipment, and skilled operators to meet the demands of projects both large and small. We offer everything from sheet metal punching and laser cutting to spot welding and hardware insertion. Unlike many other sheet metal manufacturing companies, Parks also offers machining, welding, in-house powder coating, painting and silk screening solutions. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business revenue through the acquisition and development of new customer accounts within the local/Oregon market. This role focuses on expanding the company's market presence by identifying sales opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and closing profitable new business. Primary duties include; * prospecting, securing and developing new customer accounts. * preparing and submitting accurate job quotations, and managing sales activities throughout the full project lifecycle. The Outside Sales Representative works closely with internal production, estimating, and management teams to ensure customer requirements, specifications, and timelines are clearly communicated and met. Compensation includes a base salary and an uncapped commission structure. Qualifications * Minimum two years selling experience in the machine shop/sheet metal market. * Demonstrated ability to generate new customer accounts and close sales in a technical or production-driven setting * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, job quoting, and customer specifications * Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, or production requirements preferred * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Education Requirements * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
