Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable Art Gallery Sales Associate to join our team. This person will be a full-time employee responsible for overseeing the gallery and transacting retail sales to customers. The selected candidate will welcome clients to the gallery, assist clients in selecting and acquiring artwork that suits their preferences and needs, provide information on the artwork, artists, framing and delivery. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, strong communication skills, and a passion for art. Responsibilities: - Selling art in a luxury art environment. Working as the face of the gallery, and assisting walk-in clients & appointment clients to understand their artistic preferences and requirements, answering artist/artwork questions such as framing styles, art sizing options, etc. - Provide expert advice on art selection based on client's taste, space, and budget. - Generating invoices and processing sales. - Attend events held in the gallery. - Provide exceptional customer service, and strong follow-up to clients. Qualifications: - This position is for a retail sales professional. Art gallery sales experience is highly desirable but not mandatory. - Sales-focused individual. - Strong knowledge of various art forms and styles - Highly organized with attention to detail. - Maintain the standards of excellence in the gallery and for guest experience, presenting a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
