Values * Passion for quality * Commitment to service * Integrity and authenticity in our products * Dedication to be the best in the industry * Pride in our work * Teamwork to achieve our goals Position Summary The Retail Sales & Account Specialist - Specialty Foods is a results-driven sales professional responsible for growing revenue through direct customer engagement, strategic merchandising, and strong store-level relationships. This role blends hands-on retail selling with account management, promotional execution, and product education to increase sales, expand distribution, and build long-term customer loyalty within the specialty foods category. What you will do: * Drive sales through proactive customer engagement, suggestive selling, cross-selling, and upselling * Increase basket size, conversion rates, and repeat business through exceptional service * Execute in-store and regional promotional activities to maximize sell-through and revenue * Plan and implement product placement, off-shelf merchandising, and display programs * Assemble and maintain promotional displays including end-caps and feature fixtures * Coordinate and execute in-store demos, tastings, and sales events * Partner with store management and staff to ensure strong execution of promotions and events * Provide product education to customers and store personnel, including new items, trends, and seasonal programs * Ensure planogram compliance, shelf tag accuracy, pricing integrity, and inventory availability * Monitor replenishment systems to minimize out-of-stocks and ensure full distribution * Support new store sets, resets, and remodels in collaboration with merchandising teams * Identify new sales opportunities within the territory and present solutions to store leadership * Monitor competitive activity and communicate insights to internal stakeholders About you: * Proven sales experience in retail, grocery, or specialty food environments * Passion for selling with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals * Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels * Confident initiating conversations, making recommendations, and closing sales * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Ability to learn and apply product knowledge quickly, including specialty food categories * Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends; travel as required * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Bachelor's Degree preferred. * 5 + years of strong sales performance in the grocery industry * 2+ years' experience with specialty food Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee(s) assigned to this position.
