Farmers ' Market Sales Associate - $30/hr+ -- Organic Vegan Dessert Startup (Sundays) Location: Palo Alto Farmers' Market Schedule: Sundays, 8:30 AM-1:30 PM Pay: $30+/hour(base or commission -- whichever is higher)

We handcraft nutrient-dense vegan cakes using activated nuts, whole ingredients, and zero refined sugars. Our booth is consistently one of the most talked-about at Bay Area farmers markets -- and we're looking for a standout salesperson to match the product. The Role You'll be the face of Marinko's every Sunday at the Palo Alto Farmers' Market. The job is simple: attract attention, engage people, move product, and have fun doing it. This is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, energetic environments. What You 'll Do

• Actively sell our raw, organic vegan cakes to farmers' market customers
• Hand out samples and confidently explain what makes our desserts different
• Draw foot traffic and keep engagement high at the booth
• Process cash + card payments accurately
• Keep the booth clean, organized, and visually appealing Who Thrives in This Job You don't need to be a nutrition expert. You don't need to be a "vegan warrior." But you do need to be a high-energy people person who likes winning. Ideal candidates:
• Are comfortable being on their feet for 5-6 hours
• Are outgoing, conversational, and quick to approach customers
• Can handle rejection and bounce right back
• Enjoy talking about food, wellness, and clean ingredients
• Are reliable, punctual, and strong with follow-through
• Have experience in sales, retail, events, customer service, or farmers markets (not required, just helpful)
• Are morning people with stamina and initiative Pay
• $30+/hour, every week
• You always get whichever is higher: base pay or commission
