About the Team / Role Wholesome Goods, Inc. is a fast-growing Global Omni-channel Brand Hub with exciting high-growth brands across home goods, cosmetics, pet care, and more! We're looking for a proactive, sales-driven professional to join our team as a Retail Sales Specialist. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales person with a proven track record of placing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) within large-scale retail environments. In this B2B Sales role, you will proactively identify and convert high-value B2B leads through a consultative sales approach, maintaining executive-level professionalism across all communications--from initial cold outreach and shelf-gap analysis to high-stakes retail buyer pitches to securing shelf space. This position requires a relationship-builder who values high-touch client engagement, and is committed to driving sustainable revenue growth through deep-rooted retail partnerships. Responsibilities: * Proactively identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities through targeted prospecting, professional referrals, and strategic outbound outreach. * Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to identify retail shelf gaps; deliver compelling pitches that educate buyers on key product features, benefits, and market fit. * Travel regularly to represent the brand professionally at trade shows, industry conferences, and on-site account meetings to strengthen potential client relationships * Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets while maintaining a robust pipeline. * Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and customer locations * Deliver product pitches, and educate buyers on product selling features and benefits * Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction. * Track all sales opportunities in Project Management systems * Identify opportunities for account expansion: Analyze a buyer's "shelf gaps" and present new products * Conduct competitive analysis and provide actionable feedback on customer trends, pricing, and the competitive landscape and determine how our brands fit in the space * May perform other projects or duties assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree preferred * Sales and negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills * Experience working with a brick and mortar retailer * Trade show experience * Proficiency in Google Suite including Google Sheets and Google Docs * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Strong people skills and out of the box thinking * Sales Pipeline Experience * Already awarded an in-store contract with a major retailer preferred * Proficient in creating high-impact, professional sales presentations * Speaks Spanish- preferred What You 'll Gain At Wholesome Goods, the perks are as thoughtful as our products: * Competitive compensation * Medical, dental & vision with strong contributions * 401(k) program * Quarterly product giveaways * Up to 50% employee discount * Work-Life balance * Inclusive, people-first environment where YOU matter plus the chance to work with brands people love and trust every day.
