About the job: The Applications Engineer serves as the technical point of contact for customers, providing pre- and post-sale support, defining application solutions, and helping customers successfully adopt the company's products. *We 're looking for someone who: * Holds a BS or MS in Engineering * Has 5+ years of industrial automation experience in customer-facing technical roles * Has experience with I/O controllers, motion control, and functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, EN ISO 13849-1) * Can read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB design documentation * Has experience commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems * Is proficient with Microsoft Office, CAD tools, and Windows/Linux operating systems * Has programming experience with languages such as C/C++, C#, or Python * Communicates clearly with strong technical writing and presentation skills * Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills * Is a self-starter with a continuous learning mindset * Is willing to travel moderately *What you 'll do: * Act as the technical point of contact for new and existing customers * Define solutions based on customer application requirements * Develop and present technical proposals to customers * Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new or custom products and features * Capture and communicate customer feedback for future product development * Support customer adoption through training and technical support, both remote and onsite * Create and maintain technical support resources such as manuals, application notes, and training materials * Support company participation in trade shows, conferences, and seminars Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
