Role Overview As a Business Development Specialist / Account Manager, you will run a full desk --developing new client relationships while managing and growing existing accounts. You'll partner with recruiters to deliver top clinical talent, negotiate contracts, and ensure client satisfaction. This is a results-driven role with a direct impact on Palm Health's growth. Key Responsibilities * Prospect and develop new client accounts (hospitals, health systems, medical groups). * Manage existing client relationships--expanding revenue and improving retention. * Negotiate contracts, bill rates, and terms to maximize gross margin. * Partner with recruiters to match providers to client needs and drive placements. * Achieve and exceed activity and revenue KPIs (calls, meetings, gross margin goals). * Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in Salesforce. Qualifications & Experience * Required: 2+ years in healthcare staffing (Locum Tenens, Physician, APP, or related). * Proven success in business development, account management, or full-desk recruiting. * Strong understanding of healthcare contracts, bill rates, and margin structures. * Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets and KPIs. * Resilient, competitive, and metrics-driven with strong communication skills. * Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
