We are seeking an Employee Benefits Sales Consultant to generate and retain business by developing sales strategies, securing new and renewal accounts, supporting client service operations, and presenting tailored employee benefit solutions to businesses nationwide. This role is ideal for a motivated B2B sales professional who enjoys outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and building long-term client relationships. How You Will Contribute * Prospect, develop, propose, and help implement new employee benefit programs * Drive new business through outbound calling, networking, referrals, written outreach, and meetings * Retain and renew existing client relationships annually * Develop and execute an outside sales strategy aligned with growth goals * Analyze prospects' current benefit offerings and identify opportunities to strengthen or replace programs * Present customized employee benefit solutions * Support cross-selling opportunities across benefit and planning solutions * Partner with advisors, account support, and leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service * Assist with collecting census, coverage, enrollment, and required documentation * Maintain accurate records for prospective and existing clients * Participate in training, licensing, and professional development * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations * Always maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality Licenses & Certifications * Life & Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain within 30 days * Willingness to complete required training and licensing * Ability to travel locally or regionally as needed (virtual and in-person meetings) Skills & Experience to Be Successful * 2-3+ years of B2B sales experience preferred (Employee benefits, PEO, HRIS, payroll, insurance, or related industries a plus) * Proven consultative sales track record * Comfort with outbound prospecting and cold outreach * Strong understanding of employee benefits or ability to quickly develop expertise * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Self-motivated, accountable, and performance-driven * Comfortable in a merit-based compensation environment Compensation & Career Growth * Competitive base compensation * Performance-based bonuses and commissions * Training, licensing, and professional development support Why Vero Financial Group * Merit-based culture where performance and integrity matter * Entrepreneurial environment with direct access to leadership * National reach with a relationship-first, service-driven mindset * Partnered with a Fortune 100 company founded in 1854 * Benefit solutions that create real value for employers and employees Job Type: Full-time Pay: $54,594.99 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement * Work from home Application Question(s): * This position requires fingerprinting and a background check.
