Stockham Lumber Co. is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to manage and grow contractor relationships within our market. This role focuses on account development, new business growth, and delivering dependable service backed by strong operational support. Requirements: * Prior experience in building material sales is required * Strong knowledge of building materials and construction practices * Proven ability to manage a sales territory independently * Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills * Proficiency with CRM, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Responsibilities: * Grow and manage an assigned contractor and professional customer base * Develop new business through consistent field activity and job site visits * Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate building material solutions * Prepare quotes, follow up on orders, and manage sales through completion * Coordinate with inside sales and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution * Maintain accurate activity and account information in CRM and ERP systems Benefits: * $50-60K base salary plus commission * Performance-based earning potential * Mileage reimbursement / vehicle allowance * Paid time off and holidays * 401(k) with company match * Partially funded health insurance Schedule: * Full-time * Field and office-based Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Health insurance * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off Work Location: In person
