Role Overview This is an Sales & Operations leadership role for an experienced Manufacturing and Distribution leader who excels at accountability, execution, and alignment. You will own sales, operations, quality & process, profitability, and customer experience across a multi-site manufacturing and distribution business. This role is designed for a hands-on operator who can translate strategy into disciplined execution, build structure, and lead cultural change toward excellence and accountability. About the Company We are a privately held, family-run manufacturing and distribution company with two operating locations in South and Central Florida. Our business combines custom, make-to-order manufacturing with a growing distribution operation. After 15 years of steady growth, we are entering our next stage and are seeking an Operations Leader to lead the evolution from owner-led execution to a highly aligned, disciplined, and accountable operating organization. Position Summary The Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance, alignment, and execution of Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution, Purchasing, and Logistics. This is a newly created role with meaningful authority and direct access to ownership. The successful candidate will be a proven operator and leader who values excellence, someone who brings clarity, structure, and strategic execution to complex environments. This role requires rolling up your sleeves management - setting standards, building alignment across departments, and delivering results through accountability, strategic decision-making, disciplined processes, and strong leadership. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Sales Alignment * Lead and manage the Sales organization with clear expectations, goals, and accountability * Establish defined roles and outcomes, disciplined quoting, pricing, and approval standards * Ensure sales commitments align with manufacturing capacity, inventory availability, and delivery realities * Own forecasting, pipeline integrity, and cross-functional alignment * Drive commercially sound decisions that support profitable, executable growth Manufacturing, Distribution & Operational Excellence * Provide overall leadership for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution across two locations * Own the end-to-end customer experience related to execution, including escalation management, root-cause resolution, and process improvements to prevent repeat issues * Establish clear quality control standards and accountability, ensuring product quality and accuracy at every stage * Maintain 100% ownership and accountability for what leaves the facility, including quality, accuracy, and timeliness * Implement consistent inspection, quality assurance, and release processes * Improve on-time, in-full delivery and operational reliability through disciplined planning and execution * Drive team leads' success using clearly defined KPIs and performance expectations * Replace reactive firefighting with structured, repeatable operating processes and accountability Strategy Execution, Operating Structure & Accountability * Translate company strategy into a clear, executable operating plan with measurable outcomes for each department * Establish organizational clarity through defined roles, responsibilities, and decision rights * Build and enforce accountability at all leadership levels * Design, implement, and manage core business processes, including: * Sales-to-Operations handoff * Pricing and quoting governance * Production planning and prioritization * Inventory and purchasing controls * Develop and execute training and development plans to ensure leaders and teams meet performance standards * Establish KPI reporting and review cadences to drive execution, accountability, and continuous improvement Financial Leadership & Enterprise Alignment * Own business performance, including profitability, execution discipline, and customer experience * Ensure financial and operational decisions align with strategic objectives and company values * Partner with ownership on financial performance, planning, and priorities * Bring all departments together to operate as a single, aligned team focused out clearly-defined outcomes * Balance growth, operational capability, and customer commitments to support sustainable success Qualifications & Experience Required * Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field * Demonstrated success in integrating sales, manufacturing, and operations in complex environments * 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and strategic operations * 5+ years senior leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or general management * Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole) * Experience leading custom or make-to-order manufacturing operations * Strong knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and production planning * Strong technology and MS Office skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities * Proven ability to build alignment, accountability, and execution excellence Preferred * Multi-lingual * Background in founder-led or family-owned organizations * Previous experience managing profitability of a department or company Leadership Profile This role is well-suited for a leader who: * Balances company needs with customer and team expectations to create excellence * Brings clarity and alignment to complex organizations * Leads with accountability, fairness, and consistency * Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution * Earns trust through follow-through and results Compensation & Opportunity * Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience * Performance-based incentive aligned to execution, structure, and results * Direct access to ownership and meaningful decision authority * Opportunity to shape the future of a well-established, growing business Why This Role This is a rare opportunity to step into a true General Manager role with the mandate, authority, and support to build structure, lead change, and create lasting operational excellence.
