At Michael's Home, we guarantee a base salary of $3500 per month during the probationary period but you will earn even more with commission. With a successful career here, you will be making over $42k - $90k+ annually. This directly translates to at least $20/hour with a max earning potential of $40/hour or more. You are someone who wants to work for a locally-owned company, is confident in their sales experience, will hit the ground running, understands the importance and sees the value of collaborating with teammates and is seasoned enough to understand the ebbs and flows of the industry throughout the year. Between our two showrooms, Michael's has one of the largest furniture selections in the Pacific Northwest. Most importantly, you will get to continue to hone your selling skills and be a part of a great team. Requirements * At least 3 years of commissioned retail sales experience. * Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply that knowledge with customers. * Passionate about helping customers. * Have positive energy and drive to succeed. * Confidence in self and own abilities. * Understands and embraces the strengths of working collaboratively as a team. Duties and Responsibilities * Producing sales and meeting a minimum monthly goal. * Will be required to work weekends and some holidays. * Occasionally will be asked to work a few extra hours to cover vacations. * Provide excellent client follow-up. * Help maintain the showroom through upkeep and tidying. * Occasionally help with opening and closing the store.
