This role is based our of our Milwaukie, OR location with responsibilities spanning our multi-site operations. What You 'll Do As our Electrical Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative, you'll lead client acquisition and relationship management, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored maintenance solutions. You'll be a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and driving revenue growth while aligning with JH Kelly's commitment to excellence. Salary Range: $70,000 - $115,000 annually + performance bonuses Here 's a deeper dive into what you'll take on: * Client Prospecting & Relationship Building * Identify and pursue new clients in need of electrical preventative maintenance services, leveraging industry knowledge to uncover opportunities. * Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering customized solutions. * Act as a visible, proactive liaison between clients and JH Kelly's technical teams, fostering trust and alignment to ensure seamless service delivery. * Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation * Conduct on-site assessments of clients' electrical systems to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement. * Collaborate with technical teams to develop comprehensive, high-quality maintenance proposals and service agreements tailored to client requirements. * Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with clients' budgetary and operational goals, driving successful deal closures. * Project Coordination & Execution * Coordinate with internal teams, including shop and field craft personnel, to ensure smooth execution of maintenance projects, from scheduling to quality control. * Manage resources and timelines to deliver measurable results on time and within scope, maintaining JH Kelly's standard of operational excellence. * Monitor project progress and client feedback to continuously improve service delivery and user experience. * Industry Expertise & Market Insight * Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed guidance to clients and maintain a competitive edge. * Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue targets, to drive strategic growth. * Leverage tools like CRM software to streamline workflows and enhance sales efficiency. * Cross-Functional Collaboration * Foster positive relationships with JH Kelly's operating groups, including safety, CAD/BIM, accounting, IT, and project teams, to ensure cohesive operations. * Build strong connections with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support project success and secure favorable terms. What You Bring * Experience: 2+ years in sales within the electrical or related industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Skills:** Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices, exceptional communication, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software. * Mindset: Results-driven, strategic yet hands-on, with a knack for problem-solving, relationship-building, and driving client adoption of maintenance solutions. * Tech Savvy:** Ability to assess and communicate maintenance requirements effectively; familiarity with leveraging digital tools for efficiency is a plus. * Requirements:** Valid driver's license; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical systems is preferred. Physical Requirements This field-based position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting site assessments and client visits. Candidates must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as driving, entering data on a mobile device, and carrying equipment.
