Full description of the position

Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive with strong logistics and freight forwarding experience to drive revenue growth across the Caribbean and Central & South America. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions across FCL, breakbulk, project cargo, and air freight services. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with the ability to build long-term partnerships, work closely with global agents and carriers, and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-focused sales environment. Frequent face-to-face meetings, domestic and international travel, and close collaboration with internal teams are key to success in this role. Responsibilities: * Develop, close business and generate sales as directed by the Chief Commercial Officer and the VP of Business Development. * Explain, promote & sell CFL Global services by working closely with overseas Offices and Agents globally (CFL Network) in developing business for the Company in the Caribbean and/or Central America/South America * South Florida - 20-25 face to face sales calls per week with back up cold calls. * Domestic and International travel required. * Schedule & participate in regular Video & Conference calls with Agents, existing and prospective clients. * Use in-house reports to generate business for the company. * Follow up on rates quoted to overseas teams/agents as well as customers quoted directly. * Work closely with Carriers/Vendors to find the best possible service and cost solutions for our clients. * Use your industry experience and knowledge to onboard business from existing relationships with customers/vendors. * Provide assistance to the pricing team when needed, including quoting customers and following up with vendors for pending costs. * Record & report client contact details weekly to the Chief Commercial Officer and VP of Business Development. * Encourage team building in the office through cooperation and enthusiastic attitude. * Upsell Current additional services. * Warm leads follow up calls to prospects. * Cold-Call prospects generated by external lead sources. * Respond quickly to customer questions about the services offered. Including quoting customers in a timely manner. * Take Bookings when closing business on the spot. * Develop relationships with new/existing clients, uncovering opportunities in niche areas such as breakbulk cargo and special handling services. * Provided tailored logistics solutions based on clients needs (FCL, Breakbulk, Project Cargo and Air shipments). * Focus on driving sales growth and identifying key business opportunities by: o Initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients. o Prospecting for leads and performing cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses. o Supervising accounts daily to retain existing relationships. o Negotiating prices and services with customers and carriers. o Creating sales goals to achieve targets. o Upholding rapport with clients and prospects. o Developing a plan to achieve sales targets. o Establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of freight transportation services. o Taking ownership of customer issues and following through to resolution. Qualifications * Bachelor's / Associates Degree - preferable. * 5-7 years of related experience. * Displayed ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. * Exhibited leadership skills and strong self-motivation for career advancement. * Capable of thinking analytically and creatively. * Excellent attention to detail. * Proficient with Excel, Word, experience with shipping systems. * Solid experience in lead qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account relationship development, and time management. * Strong verbal and written skills; English / Spanish equally fluent.
