Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steel Trader professional to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing client relationships, negotiating sales, and providing expert guidance on steel products within a fast-paced trading environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong math and excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in the steel industry while contributing to the company's growth through strategic sales initiatives. Responsibilities * Engage with clients to understand their steel product needs and provide tailored solutions. * Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts effectively to maximize sales opportunities. * Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. * Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market data for reporting purposes. * Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline. * Report to Sales Manager and CEO on regular basis. Qualifications * Proven experience in inside sales or trading within the steel or commodities industry. * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively. * Excellent math skills to perform complex calculations. * Familiarity with incoterms. * Effective communication skills for engaging clients, suppliers and internal team professionally. * College degree preferred.
