ABOUT US: TargetPath is a consultancy that helps companies reach their potential faster with a higher probability of success. We provide a veteran team that works alongside the client to develop and execute business plan, go-to-market and operational strategy. OBJECTIVE : The Sales Operations & Logistics Manager is a client-facing leader responsible for overseeing sales operations, logistics processes, and vendor management across multiple accounts. This individual will act as both a hands-on contributor and strategic manager --serving as a player/coach who drives client outcomes and mentors team members. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in logistics oversight, process ownership, and relationship management to ensure operational consistency and measurable results for clients. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Client & Partner Relationship Management * Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to manage distributor and partner relationships that drive sales outcomes * Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, ensuring complex challenges are resolved and barriers removed across departments * Act as primary liaison with Finance for order and inventory issues Order Management & Logistics Oversight * Lead oversight of order management processes, including establishing procedures, resolving escalations, and tracking KPIs * Oversee international transportation documentation, compliance requirements, and management of key shipments * Negotiate and manage vendor and supplier relationships, including freight and logistics agreements, pricing, rebates, and service levels * Conduct freight cost analysis in collaboration with Finance; review and approve operational invoices Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement * Initiate process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability across client accounts * Define and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure operational consistency and best practices across teams * Oversee systems integration projects (i.e. EDI, webstore interfaces, etc) to streamline order and logistics workflows Strategic & Financial Contribution * Provide input into strategic planning for sales operations, including recommendations on productivity, process innovation, and customer service standards * Partner with Finance to support decision-making, financial oversight, and operational reporting Leadership & Team Development * Balance hands-on responsibilities with management duties, modeling best practices while empowering the team to take ownership * Mentor and develop team members responsible for day-to-day operational execution QUALIFICATIONS: * Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience * 7+ years of operations management experience, including sales operations and logistics * 1-2 years of prior team management experience, with demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and develop staff * Proven track record managing client-facing accounts and driving operational improvements * Strong understanding of order management, warehouse operations, and international logistics * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across clients, vendors, and internal teams * Experience leading systems integration projects (EDI, WMS, ERP, or similar) * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution * Prior trade show logistics highly desirable * Intermediate level knowledge of all Microsoft office programs in Windows, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
