Job Title: Account Manager Salary: $80-120k + potential $5,000 sign-on bonus (not guaranteed) Industry: Electronic components manufacturing and distribution Location: San Jose, CA [In-Office / Local Travel Required] Overview: Our client, a global leader in electronic component manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their San Jose office. This role is ideal for professionals with 3 -10 years of experience selling electronic components, seeking to manage strategic accounts and drive sales growth across key markets. Responsibilities: * Manage and coordinate sales activities for assigned strategic accounts. * Develop and implement sales strategies based on market conditions and customer requirements. * Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction. * Support product design-in, technical discussions, and reference design efforts. * Present and negotiate product technical and commercial information to customers. * Provide sales forecasts, market data, and competitive analysis to management. * Collaborate with internal engineering, technical service, and manufacturing teams. * Participate in product and sales training, trade shows, and presentations. * Manage customer visits and communications, ensuring timely follow-up on all actions. * Prepare and issue quotations while adhering to company pricing policies. * Achieve assigned sales and profitability targets. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required. * 3 -10 years of experience in electronic component sales (OEM or distribution). * Strong understanding of sales techniques, international business, and project management. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Valid driver 's license and ability to travel to client sites. Preferred Qualifications: * Technical knowledge in electronic engineering or related fields. * Experience managing distributor and manufacturer representative relationships.
