Our team proudly serves a diverse customer base, with a large percentage of clients who speak Russian or Ukrainian. As a trusted name in Portland/Vancouver's Slavic community, we're known for helping families navigate a full range of State Farm Insurance products with confidence. In this customer-facing, goal-oriented position, you'll build strong relationships, guide customers through the insurance process from initial inquiry to policy issuance and ensure their satisfaction by delivering coverage that truly fits their needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Manage the full customer's lifecycle--from initial contact and consultation to quote generation, policy issuance, and follow-up. * Act as a point of contact for partner-driven sales projects and community events. * Promote long-term customer relationships by providing excellent service and ongoing support. * Maintain accurate records in the agency CRM and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. * Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to support client needs. * Needs-base selling of insurance products to meet customer's needs KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Strong insurance sales aptitude and ability to close * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Highly organized with strong attention to detail * Proactive problem-solving mindset * Technologically adept; experience with CRM software is a plus * Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, or another language is highly valued. COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses -- no ceiling on your earning potential! Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. REPORTS TO: Agency Owner - Elena Pleshakov Insurance and Financial Services, INC (State Farm Agency) SUMMARY: * Uncapped commission with no earning ceiling * Warm, qualified leads provided * Collaborative, multilingual team support * Annual incentive trips and team-building events * Real investment in your professional growth SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct reports. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed primarily in a professional office setting with occasional travel to customer locations or partner events. The environment may include moderate noise levels and regular use of computers and phones. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Frequently required to sit, stand, and use a computer * Occasionally required to lift up to 15 lbs. * Must be able to drive to off-site meetings and events ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: * Full-time, 40 hours per week * Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM * Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for customer meetings or community events TRAVEL: Up to 20% local travel (Portland / Vancouver area) required; mostly day trips, occasional evening events EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in Oregon (required). * 1-2 years of sales experience preferred * Customer service/sales experience strongly preferred UNION ELIGIBILITY: This position is not represented by a union.
