Marine Retail Sales Position (Eureka, CA) Are you AWESOME, LOYAL, and COMMITTED? Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine and Fishing industry, is looking for an experienced retail salesperson who is knowledgeable in marine and boating products for our Eureka, CA location. Our store and our customers need a person who really enjoys working with customers to be the solution to all of their product needs. The ideal candidate has a marine product background and is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, who wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work! Duties include, but are not limited to: * Working with retail customers to find the right parts for their needs * Research hard to find product to help people find those parts that are not currently in stock. We pride ourselves on helping every customer fill their boating and fishing needs! * Process customer orders using a computer system * Purchase some products directly from vendors * Merchandise the store to facilitate additional sales * Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments Skills Required: * KNOWLEDGE OF BOATING / MARINE PRODUCTS A MUST * Experience with marine electronics a plus * Excellent attention to detail * Outstanding customer service skills * Computer experience Time Requirements: * Job is Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays * Base hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am to 3 pm on Saturday's * Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events Wage: starting at $20.00 an hour, DOE Our excellent benefits include Profit Sharing, 401K, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Personal Time Off.
