About CMX Cinemas: CMX Cinemas premiered in April 2017, offering guests an innovative VIP movie- going experience. Since that time, CMX has grown organically and through acquisition, notably acquiring Cobb Theatres and CineBistro locations. CMX continues to grow as we proudly promote a people-driven culture, investing significantly in the development of our teams, providing high achievers with many opportunities to grow professionally. We are looking for a Senior Sponsorship & Sales Manager to lead our U.S. commercial growth by developing brand partnerships, closing sponsorship deals, and helping position Lyon Gaming as a cross-cultural esports powerhouse. This role will also manage CMX Cinemas pre-show and on-screen advertising sales, integrating gaming, sports, and entertainment sponsorship opportunities into: * Cinema pre-show advertising * Lobby and wall screens * Digital menu boards * Restroom screens and other in-theatre touchpoints Role Summary We are seeking a senior, wellconnected sponsorship and onscreen media strategist & seller who can: * Sell team and esports sponsorships for Lyon Gaming / Lyon Academy * Sell onscreen & intheatre media across CMX Cinemas * Build integrated sponsorship packages that connect esports, traditional sports, cinema, and lifestyle brands * Leverage an existing network in sports, esports, and entertainment sponsors to bring new brands into our ecosystem This is a highimpact, revenuedriving role crucial to establishing Lyon Gaming's U.S. presence and unlocking new commercial opportunities for CMX. Key Responsibilities 1. Sponsorship Sales - Lyon Gaming & Lyon Academy * Lead sponsorship and partnership sales strategy for Lyon Gaming's U.S. division * Prospect, pitch, and secure partnerships with gaming, lifestyle, consumer, and entertainment brands * Package and sell team assets: jersey/logo placement, digital content integration, social media, live event activations, and co-branded campaigns * Develop multiyear sponsorships with clear KPIs and ROI tracking (awareness, engagement, conversions) 2. On-Screen & In-theatre Advertising - CMX Cinemas * Manage CMX pre-screen and on-screen advertising sales, including pre-show spots, lobby video walls, menu screens, and bathroom screens * Create cross-platform sponsorship opportunities that integrate esports content, live viewing parties, experiential integration and gaming into cinema advertising campaigns * Build bundled packages combining Lyon Gaming sponsorship rights with CMX's intheatre media inventory * Work with internal teams to design branded content, custom spots, and in-theatre activations (tournaments, watch parties, brand takeovers) 3. CrossPlatform Partnership Strategy * Identify and target brands actively investing in sports, esports, youth culture, and entertainment * Use your existing network to open doors with CMOs, Heads of Sponsorship, and key agency buyers * Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to bring partnerships to life across social, digital, inperson events, and cinema * Manage sponsorship renewals, upsells, and long term partner relationships * Independently manage pipeline and provide weekly/monthly reporting on progress 4. Representation & Networking * Represent Lyon Gaming and CMX at sports, esports, media, and marketing conferences, client meetings, and industry events (~20% travel) * Stay on top of new brands and categories entering sports/esports sponsorship (fintech, DTC brands, energy drinks, automotive, etc.) * Act as a bridge between U.S. sponsors and our Latin American esports heritage, positioning Lyon as a crossborder, crosscultural platform Required Experience & Background * 5+ years in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in esports, gaming, entertainment, cinema, media/OOH/DOOH sales * Proven network in the sports & entertainment industry - you know the "who's who" in partnership & sponsoring (brand CMOs, Heads of Sports Marketing, agency leads, etc.) * Demonstrated track record closing mediumtolarge deals with major brands (national or global) * Strong U.S. brand and agency network, ideally with exposure togaming, consumer, lifestyle, and entertainment brands * Experience managing medium-to-large deals * Understanding of the esports ecosystem and games like League of Legends preferred * Experience or understanding of prescreen cinema advertising sales is a strong plus * Ability to sell in the U.S. market; LATAM experience is optional but helpful * Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus * Based in or willing to relocate to Miami Technical Skills * Comfortably using CRM and analytics tools to track pipeline, engagement, and conversion metrics (HubSpot/Salesforce experience a plus) * Ability to prepare pitch decks and proposals independently or with internal creative support * Strong reporting skills with experience in CPM, engagement efficiency,conversion tracking, and audience insights * Ability to analyze pre-screen advertising performance metrics and incorporate into sponsor reporting Compensation & Benefits * Competitive base salary + lucrative commission opportunities * Medical, dental, vision insurance * 401(k) retirement savings with employer match * Paid vacation and holidays * Opportunities for global travel to represent Lyon Gaming at events, tournaments, conferences, and prescreen advertising activations * Merchandise and esports-related perks * Clear growth pathways based on performance Work Style * Hybrid role: 80% client visits, 20% remote * Initially an individual contributor with potential to build a small team as the business grows. * Access to internal resources: marketing, design, esports teams, and CMX prescreen advertising team for support.
