We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team at Westfield Valley Fair, specializing in HOBBY & CRAFTS products. If you love interacting with customers and enjoy helping them find the perfect gift, this is the job for you! Responsibilities: * Customer Assistance : Welcome and engage with customers to explain the features and benefits of our DIY products, answer questions, and make recommendations. * Sales Transactions : Process sales using our point-of-sale system, handling payments accurately. * Product Restocking : Monitor and replenish inventory to keep the kiosk fully stocked and organized. * Product Demonstrations : Showcase our DIY products to increase customer interest and drive sales. * Promotional Activities : Assist with in-store promotions and events, including setting up displays. * Social Media Support : Contribute ideas and draft posts to promote products (only during paid hours). * Cleanliness and Organization : Maintain a neat, welcoming kiosk environment. * Reporting : Share regular feedback on customer preferences, sales trends, and any concerns. Requirements: * Prior 1 year experience in retail, customer service, or restocking is a plus * Friendly, approachable, and proactive personality * Willingness to take initiative and stay attentive to store needs ("see what needs to be done") * Able to handle basic physical tasks, including lifting boxes occasionally, restocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and organized * Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends * Able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week * High school diploma or equivalent required * Must be willing to relocate to the Milpitas/San Jose area in the future Benefits: * Employee DISCOUNTS on products * PTO (Sick Leave) * Flexible scheduling Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.20 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Work Location: In person
