Full description of the position

Overview We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and detail-oriented Ocean Export Forwarding Sales Person to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible to build our book of business, have knowledge about the shipping/logistics industry, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics with a focus on customer relationship management. Experience is required. Knowledge of ocean tariff filings is also required. Duties * Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations and enhance service quality. * Identify potential sales opportunities within the logistics sector. Skills * Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation management principles. * Proficiency in customer relationship management techniques to foster positive client interactions. * Sales experience is required. * Familiarity with inside sales practices within the logistics industry. * Understanding of carrier sales strategies to negotiate favorable terms with shipping providers. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and partners. * Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. * Bilingual is a plus. * Computer knowledge and Excel knowledge * Knowledge of ocean tariff filings.
