SALES/SALES SUPPORT Yacht Chandlers Inc. Great office environment with solid company (30+yrs in business). If you are looking for a great company to grow with, this might be for you. 8-5 M-F , office position on Sunrise Blvd. We need a positive, energetic person to fill this position. Do you have experience with parts in Marine, Automotive, Aviation, Industrial or similar industry in parts or service? Great on the computer? Can research, and communicate well? Do you have great follow up and follow through? Interested in working in the yachting industry? Entry level is ok, if you are a fast learner and have great work ethic. Professional and get enjoyment out of delivering "better than expected results"? Qualifications: Must have a bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience in sales/customer service to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Experience with Microsoft Outlook is preferred, and must have good communication skills over the phone. Typing at 60WPM and keyboard skills a must. Job Duties: Work with Inside Sales Rep to research, quote and supply Commercial and Private Yachts. Purchasing/Selling skills, understanding buying right and margins. Find new vendors and solutions for our customers. Not all items can be readily found in a catalog, so you must be an out of the box thinker. You will be dealing with professional yachtsmen and need to know how to speak their language. Industry knowledge preferred, but not required if you posses great computer, research and follow up/follow through skills. A general interest in boating/ water sports is also helpful but not required. Must be self motivated, and can follow through with a task without being micromanaged. Help with outside company events as needed, such as monthly crew events, boat shows, and other client appreciation activities. Looking for a team player, that does what it takes to get the job done. Sometimes that means helping pack orders, coordinate deliveries, and other essential tasks to ensure orders are delivered on time.
