Company Profile We are a high-growth Asbestos Abatement company selling an essential, regulation-driven service that every renovation, demolition, or redevelopment project must address. Our clients, contractors, developers, and property owners, rely on us to eliminate risk, ensure compliance, and prevent costly project delays. This is a consultative, high-value sale where urgency, credibility, and responsiveness drive revenue. Job Summary This position is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing activities to generate new business in the Portland, Oregon metro area and surrounding markets. The Sales & Marketing Representative will proactively identify, pursue, and secure new residential, commercial, and institutional clients through a combination of field marketing, relationship development, direct outreach (including door-to-door canvassing where appropriate), networking, and referral cultivation. This role blends outside sales, brand representation, and grassroots marketing and is critical to establishing a consistent pipeline of qualified leads in an industry where trust, regulatory knowledge, responsiveness, and reputation are essential. The position builds upon sales and marketing functions historically performed by estimators, priority responders, and marketing support staff, consolidating them into a dedicated role aligned with industry best practices nationwide and within Oregon. Responsibilities * Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for asbestos abatement services across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector markets. * Support brand visibility and awareness through field-based marketing efforts aligned with company standards. * Conduct direct outreach activities, including door-to-door canvassing, site visits, cold calling, and in-person introductions to property owners, contractors, property managers, and facilities personnel. * Build and maintain relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), including general contractors, demolition contractors, roofing companies, restoration firms, real estate professionals, property managers, and insurance-related contacts. * Represent the company professionally at job sites, community events, trade events, and networking functions. * Educate prospective clients on asbestos regulations, abatement processes, compliance requirements, and the company's capabilities, differentiators, and safety standards. * Coordinate closely with estimators, project managers, and operations staff to ensure accurate scoping, smooth handoffs, and consistent client communication. * Track sales and marketing activity, leads, contacts, and outcomes using CRM or internal tracking systems. Skills * Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets * Expertise in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques * Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for product demos and client interactions * Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans for territory growth * Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to technology or product-based industries * Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships * Skills in upselling, analysis, product demonstrations, and cold calling are highly valued Join our team as a Marketing and Sales Representative if you are passionate about driving business success through innovative sales strategies, effective management, and exceptional client service.
