Full description of the position
Doral, Florida Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 plus commission and bonus Position Overview The Business Development Manager will lead strategic and tactical initiatives to drive enrollment growth and expand new business opportunities across multiple market segments, including workforce development, professional programs, and continuing education. This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent networking skills, and the ability to collaborate cross- functionally with internal teams to align growth strategies with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities * Design and implement business development strategies focused on short-term revenue generation and mid-term growth. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through community outreach, partnerships, and targeted market segments (e.g., veterans networks). * Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, academic institutions, and community groups. * Promote continuing education and corporate training programs to organizations and individual clients. * Collaborate with internal departments such as Admissions, Finance, Registrar, Academics, and Student Services to streamline processes that support growth initiatives. * Monitor and analyze sales performance, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met. * Develop and maintain a strong internal and external network to enhance market visibility and generate new opportunities. Qualifications * Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred but not required. * 57 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in education or consulting is a plus). * Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required. * Strong ability to collaborate across multiple levels of an organization and with external partners. * Proven commercial drive with a results-oriented mindset. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Strategic thinker with a hands-on, proactive approach.
