Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their automotive needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage inventory will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding products and services. * Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. * Maintain an organized and efficient counter area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed. * Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment. * Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales effectively. * Provide knowledgeable recommendations on automotive repair parts and services based on customer needs. * Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and placing orders as necessary. * Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution that enhances customer loyalty. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance. Qualifications * Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in an automotive environment. * Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. * Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining strong customer relationships. * Knowledge of automotive repair processes is beneficial but not required; training will be provided. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
