Job Overview Are you a motivated Insurance Sales Professional looking for a long-term career in an established agency that offers a custom work plan designed just for you? This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are well organized, have the ability to expertly manage their time and daily priorities, and possess a passion for selling needed and required insurance products to individuals and families including Auto, Home, Boat, Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicles, Personal Umbrella (liability), and Life insurance. We also have other supplemental lines and commercial products. In this role, you will need the following skills: * Communication - Provide exceptional service to prospective customers by assisting them in understanding their insurance needs and aligning them with the appropriate products. Your ability to communicate effectively via the customer's preferred method (phone, text, email) and ask questions, educate them on risks, and summarize coverages and is essential in building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction. * Empathetic - Ability to empathize with customers and prospects who rely on us to assist them when changes occur in their lives and when they need to utilize their insurance during a claim. * Time Management - Ability to prioritize daily and follow up consistently and timely, and multiple times as needed. * Organized and Disciplined - Ability to self-manage sales leads, schedule follow ups, utilize automated processes, and schedule future x-dates and insurance reviews. * Persistence - Consistent and persistent effort to contact prospects for quotes and follow up on conversations. * Competitive & Fearless - If you have a competitive and fearless nature, and can strike up conversations with anyone, enjoy personal and professional networking, and will ASK for the sale, let's talk! Duties * Engage with prospects and customers to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. * Contact current and past customers to generate leads and expand the customer base. * Utilize retail sales techniques to promote various insurance products. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details and changes. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and Allstate Standards while handling sensitive information. * Provide ongoing support and education to clients regarding their insurance policies and needs. Experience * Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred. Your skills and interest in the position as described above are required. * Experience in retail sales or outside sales is beneficial. * Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer communication when target marketing in specific areas of the state. * A commitment to continuous learning and education about insurance products and industry trends. * Obtain/Maintain MI Property & Casualty Producer license required.
