Position Summary Responsibilities General Employee Responsibilities: * Perform your job responsibilities consistent with McGuire Bearing Company's mission and vision statements and guiding principles. * Each employees' job description is not all-encompassing. However, each employee will be expected to be flexible and work overtime with little or no notice to meet customer requirements. * Employees are not allowed to operate any vehicles, forklifts, or shop equipment unless authorized to do so. * Maintain a high level of cooperation between all external and internal customers. Sales Development Representative Responsibilities: * Contact potential customers through cold calls and emails * Nurture warm customer relationships to build awareness of our products * Represent our company to potential clients as their first point of contact * Qualify client needs and suggest appropriate products or services * Proactively seek new and existing business opportunities in the market * Schedule 10-12 meetings or calls a month between prospects and Sales Executives * Stay up to date with new products and services - may attend industry tradeshows Location & Commitments * 947 SE Market St., Portland, OR 97214 * This is a full-time position. * Hours are generally 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Qualifications EXPERIENCE * Knowledge of power transmission component products and services is a plus, but not a requirement. * Sales experience in the power transmission, technology, or SaaS industries or previous experience in a Sales, incentive-based position. * Software experience - ideally with Google Suite, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and Asana SKILLS + OTHER ATTRIBUTES * Advanced organizational skills * Ego-free and coachable * Strong communication skills via phone and email * Assertive with a strong sense of personal responsibility * Self-motivated with a drive for excellence * Humility and a desire to serve others THIS POSITION IS NOT A GOOD FIT IF YOU * Are uncomfortable initiating contact through cold calling or email follow-up * Are easily frustrated and demotivated by unresponsive contacts * Prefer to work sales opportunities through to completion, independent of others BENEFITS * Health/Vision and Dental Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * 401k matching * Competitive pay: $50,000 base + variable commission + annual profit sharing Benefits * Medical and dental insurance. * 401(k) contributions and matching. * Yearly profit sharing.
