As our Sales Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in supporting our Operations Manager, forging new client relationships, nurturing existing ones, and ensuring seamless administrative excellence. What You'll Do : Drive Growth and Build Lasting Relationships Your primary mission will be to expand our reach and cultivate strong partnerships. We're looking for someone who can not only meet but exceed sales targets by championing SML's services and growing our client base. * Be a Relationship Builder : Establish and foster meaningful business relationships that naturally lead to referrals and partnerships. Your ability to create trust and cooperation will be absolutely pivotal to your success. * Provide Tailored Solutions : Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide customized calibration solutions that truly address our clients' challenges. * Craft Compelling Presentations : Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals that showcase SML's expertise and value. * Negotiate and Close : Skillfully negotiate contracts and close deals, contributing directly to our company's expansion. Report on Success : Present monthly reports that highlight your achievements and insights. * Deliver Excellence : Consistently provide exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships that stand the test of time. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain informed about industry trends and competitive developments to keep SML at the forefront. * Cultivate Prospects : Follow up on leads and prospects regularly to secure future business. Maintain Precision Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system, pulling reports as needed. * Ensure Customer Satisfaction : Follow up on calls and customer service issues, and resolve and review service complaints, reporting insights to the Operations Manager. * Support Accurate Payouts : Perform weekly referral audits to ensure accurate reporting for bonus payouts. Who You Are : * Sales Acumen : A demonstrated track record in sales, preferably in a technical or industrial field. You know how to identify opportunities and close deals. * Customer-Centric : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You genuinely enjoy building strong customer relationships and understand that service is paramount. * Calibration Curious : A basic understanding of metrology principles and calibration procedures is a significant plus. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) is beneficial, but we're happy to teach the right person. * Sharp Business Mind : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can quickly understand customer needs and propose the most appropriate calibration solutions. * Tech-Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) is a plus. * Clear Communicator : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Organized and Efficient : Strong organizational and time management skills. You can prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines with ease. * Professional Demeanor : You consistently maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Requirements : Valid Driver's License : A valid driver 's license *and a *clean driving record are essential. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associates degree in a related field is a definite plus. Ready to Travel : Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (local). Eligibility : Must provide proof of work eligibility in California. Schedule : Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Full Time This is primarily an inside sales role with some customer visits as needed.
