About Us Palo Alto Fitness Club is a premium private personal training facility specializing in holistic, one-on-one training in an exclusive environment. We serve discerning clients who value expert guidance, privacy, and highly personalized fitness experiences. Our team of 30+ certified personal trainers focuses on functional fitness, corrective movement, and long-term client transformation. About the Role We are seeking a driven, personable, and fitness-minded Sales & Customer Success Manager to join our leadership team. This is a high-impact, hourly plus commission role designed for someone passionate about both fitness and business growth. You'll be the bridge between prospective clients, our training team, and ongoing client relationships. responsible for guiding clients through the consultation and onboarding process, closing new memberships, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention. Ideal candidates have prior experience in personal training, fitness sales, or studio management , with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Client Acquisition * Conduct comprehensive fitness consultations and facility tours with prospective clients * Present and sell personal training packages and membership options * Follow up with leads, inquiries, and referrals through email, phone, and in-person meetings * Maintain an organized lead pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals * Earn high commissions on each successfully closed sale * Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation initiatives Customer Success & Retention * Serve as the main point of contact for active clients and new members * Ensure client satisfaction, track progress, and coordinate feedback between clients and trainers * Support client onboarding and orientation processes * Build long-term relationships that foster renewals and referrals * Handle customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset Administrative & Operational Support * Assist with scheduling, payments, and account management as needed * Maintain accurate client records in our CRM system * Support daily studio operations and uphold a clean, organized front-of-house environment Marketing & Community Engagement * Collaborate on social media campaigns, newsletters, and promotions * Represent Palo Alto Fitness Club at local events and networking opportunities * Document and promote client success stories and transformations Requirements: Essential Background * Proven sales or customer success experience, ideally in a fitness or wellness environment * Personal training or fitness industry background strongly preferred * Deep understanding of exercise science, movement patterns, and client goal-setting * Passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals Professional Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * Outgoing, professional, and confident communicator * Skilled in active listening, empathy, and persuasion * Comfortable with sales processes, CRM tools, and digital communications * Reliable, organized, and able to work independently * Must be available to work weekdays and some weekends in person at our Palo Alto location Compensation & Benefits * $25 -$45 per hour (based on experience) * High commission rate on every new client acquisition and membership sale * Part-time or full-time options available * Complimentary facility access * Comprehensive sales and fitness training provided * Career growth opportunities within management and operations Essential Physical Requirements * Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods * Demonstrate basic exercise form and functional movement patterns * Lift or move up to 40 lbs when assisting with studio operations Growth Opportunities * Career pathway into Studio Manager or Director of Sales roles * Ongoing professional development in fitness consulting and customer success strategy * Opportunity to work and learn directly with owner * Involvement in shaping the future of a premium fitness experience in Palo Alto Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Base Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Flexible schedule * Professional development assistance * Referral program Work Location: In personPalo Alto Fit
