Full description of the position

This is an OEM position-Overtime Eligible Manager The Catering Sales Manager for Roger Bar & Restaurant is responsible for actively generating, prospecting, and managing all restaurant-based private and semi-private events for groups of 10 -30 guests. This role is highly proactive and entrepreneurial in nature, with a strong focus on outbound sales efforts, creative initiatives, and targeted campaigns designed to drive individual event bookings. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and working closely with the Food & Beverage team, this position serves as a key revenue driver for the restaurant by identifying new opportunities, converting local demand, and creating compelling reasons for guests to celebrate at Roger.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Proactively identify, solicit, and secure new catering and private dining opportunities for 10-30 guest events
  • Develop and maintain a structured prospecting plan targeting corporate admins, HR teams, executive assistants, local businesses, social planners, and community groups
  • Conduct outbound sales efforts including calls, emails, site visits, networking, and local outreach
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of short-lead and future restaurant event business
  • Track prospecting activity, conversion, and booking performance in Event Temple
  • Work closely with the Director of F&B and DOSM to create targeted promotional campaigns to drive individual dining events (team celebrations, holiday parties, corporate dinners etc.)
  • Collaborate with F&B to design menu-driven or experience-based offers that increase booking appeal and check average
  • Monitor campaign results and adjust strategies to maximize conversion and revenue
  • Manage all inquiries and bookings for Roger Bar & Restaurant events for 10-30 guests
  • Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and event details aligned with restaurant and hotel standards
  • Upsell food & beverage enhancements, specialty menus, and experiential add-ons
  • Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and annual catering revenue goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact from inquiry through event execution
  • Ensure seamless handoff and communication with the F&B and operations teams
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure the seamless information transfer and space management
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Leadership, and F&B team to align on menus, pricing, service flow, and capacity
  • Participate in regular Sales & F&B strategy meetings
  • Accurately manage all leads, contracts, and event details in the hotel's CRM and event systems
  • Maintain booking pace, forecasted revenue, and pipeline reports
  • Provide regular performance updates to the DOSM
  • Ensure compliance with payment terms, contracts, and hotel policies Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality sales, catering sales, or restaurant sales
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and outbound sales
  • Strong understanding of food & beverage operations and private dining events
  • Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and F&B teams
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales tracking systems Pay: $75,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
