Job Summary At Five Star Jewelers, we are seeking a detailed-oriented Sales Professional and Pawn broker to join our team. In this role, you will have the exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact by assisting our customers in finding the perfect jewelry pieces, evaluating and appraising jewelry, and managing pawn loans. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and pawn, knowledge of jewelry, excellent communication skills to negotiate, build relationships with customers, and create a memorable shopping experience. Responsibilities * Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner. * Product Knowledge: It is essential to have a deep understanding of our jewelry and services. * Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and achieve revenue target goals. * Pawn Transactions: Evaluate and appraise the value of jewelry brought in for pawn or sale. * Visual Merchandising: Maintain an aesthetically pleasing store layout is crucial. * Client Relationship: Building long-term relationships with customers is a key aspect of the role. * Operational Tasks: Apart from direct customer interactions - responsible for tasks such as processing transactions and ensuring that the store maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization. Skills and Qualifications * Authorized to work in the United States. * Willingness to undergo background testing and drug screening. * High School Diploma or GED. * Bilingual in English and Spanish. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. * Previous experience in retail sales. * Knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, and metals (a plus). * Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills. * Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for closing sales and meeting performance targets. * Strong interpersonal abilities and attention to detail. * Knowledge of fashion trends and luxury brands. * Able to perform basic financial calculations. * Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Capacity to work within deadlines in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. * Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate scheduling needs, including weekends and busy retail seasons. * Proficiency in computer usage and data entry.
