Shield Property & Casualty Insurance Agency, an established Allstate-exclusive agency in Weston, FL, is seeking an experienced Property Insurance / Brokered Lines Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who is comfortable working brokered markets and navigating more complex risks. Position Overview This position will primarily focus on quoting and binding brokered personal lines property business , including both admitted and non-admitted carriers. You will work closely with our sales and service teams to place risks that fall outside of Allstate 's market appetite, ensuring customers have access to appropriate coverage solutions. What You'll Do * Quote, bind, and issue policies for : Homeowners, Condo, Flood (NFIP & Private), CPL & Excess CPL, Personal Umbrella policies, etc. * Work with Ivantage brokered carriers and other wholesale markets * Sell and place Citizens Property Insurance policies , including reviewing eligibility, preparing required documentation, and guiding customers through the application and binding process. * Review underwriting guidelines and identify appropriate carriers for complex risks * Rewrite existing policies due to underwriting changes, non-renewals, eligibility issues, or premium increases * Order, review, and evaluate inspections (4-Point, Wind Mitigation) * Ensure files are complete, compliant, and properly documented * Coordinate with lenders, HOAs, inspectors, and underwriters as needed * Maintain high accuracy, organization, and follow-through on all submissions * Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend additional products and services--including auto, umbrella, and life insurance--to better protect customers and build stronger accounts. * Meet Monthly New Business Goals What You'll Need * Minimum 1 year of property insurance experience in the Florida market * Active Florida 2-20 or 4-40 license (2-20 Preferred) * Prior experience with brokered property markets strongly preferred * Experience with Citizens Property Insurance highly preferred * Solid understanding of Florida property insurance underwriting * Comfortable handling non-standard, higher-risk, or layered policies * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Professional phone and written communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach * Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred What We Offer * Competitive base salary and commissions * Performance-based bonuses * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Ongoing training and support * Stable, established agency with strong processes and leadership * In-office team environment in Weston, FL Important Notes * This role focuses on property and brokered lines , not Allstate-branded products.
