Job Summary: Scott's Roofing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Bend, OR. The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for meeting with customers, assessing roofing needs, preparing accurate estimates, and closing sales. This role involves travel to client sites, conducting product demonstrations, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct on-site inspections to assess roofing conditions and measurements. - Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for roofing projects. - Present proposals and product demonstrations to clients, addressing questions and concerns. - Negotiate and close sales contracts, achieving sales targets. - Collaborate with project managers and roofing crews to ensure seamless project execution. - Maintain accurate records of estimates, sales, and client communications. - Stay informed about roofing products, industry trends, and local building codes in Oregon. - Represent Scott's Roofing professionally while building strong client relationships. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction or related fields preferred. - Previous experience in roofing, construction, or sales is required. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and measurements. - Proficient with technology, including laptops and estimating software (training provided). - Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Physically able to climb ladders and inspect roofs safely.
