Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physician Liaison to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our medical facility and the community, promoting our services and building relationships with referring physicians. This role requires a deep understanding of various medical specialties. The Physician Liaison will play a crucial role in enhancing patient referrals and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and their staff to promote our services. * Conduct presentations and educational sessions to inform physicians about new treatments, services, and advancements in care. * Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure that patient needs are met effectively. * Gather feedback from referring physicians regarding their experiences and suggestions for improvement. * Monitor referral patterns and identify opportunities for growth in specific service lines. * Attend community events and health fairs to represent the organization and engage with potential referral sources. * Prepare reports on referral activity and present findings to management for strategic planning. * Scheduling specialty surgeries/procedures. Experience * Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a liaison or similar role. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and various specialties. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of healthcare professionals. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * A background in sales or marketing within the healthcare industry is advantageous preferred. * This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about enhancing patient care through effective collaboration within the healthcare community.
