Director of Retail Sales Location: Petoskey, Michigan Type: Full-Time | Year-Round About K Kircher Home K Kircher Home is a growing performance-luxury lifestyle brand blending style, comfort, and durability across furniture, decor, and gifts. Our vision is to deliver "I can't believe it!" performance and style. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Retail Sales to lead our first brick-and- mortar flagship and our national e-commerce store. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a brand from the ground up-- defining the client experience, developing retail operating practices, hiring and training the retail team as we grow, and bringing the K Kircher Home brand to life consistently online and in-store. What You 'll Do * Lead and oversee daily retail operations for both the flagship showroom and the online boutique. * Maintain "I can't believe it!" experience standards by supporting an authentic, welcoming guest experience that exemplifies our values and passion for performance luxury design. * Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across both e-commerce and in-store platforms. * Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing retail service team, fostering a culture of excellence and service. * Collaborate with the founder and buying team to curate assortments aligned with our seasonal stories and design expressions. * Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising standards, and inventory accuracy. * Analyze performance data to optimize sales, client conversion, and service. * Partner with the marketing team to ensure cohesive storytelling online and in-store. * Represent the brand at local events, partnerships, and community engagements. Skills * Strong background in retail management and merchandising, with experience in both e-commerce and in-store environments. * Proven success in visual merchandising and brand presentation * Proficient in inventory management systems, POS platforms, and e-commerce CMS tools (Shopify preferred). * Experienced in forecasting, managing inventory levels, and maintaining organized back stock for optimal stock flow and accuracy. * Able to oversee delivery scheduling and customer fulfillment logistics to maintain a seamless experience across showroom, warehouse, and e-commerce operations. * Computer-savvy and data-driven, with advanced skills in Excel, analytics dashboards, and digital reporting. * Deep understanding of online merchandising, product uploads, pricing, and digital content coordination. * Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and margin management * Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. * Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growing multi-channel brand.
