We are in need of a strong, energetic, articulate, self-motivated, goal- oriented leader to manage and operate a full-service private insurance brokerage. Insurance experience a must. This opportunity is different. Ownership has taken on other related business endeavors and is looking for the right type of unique partner. Equity in the brokerage can be achieved with certain metrics reached. Salary is negotiable and this position must be filled before the new year. Such duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Develops and markets customer business to different insurance carriers to obtain quotes based on an evaluation and analysis of the customers insurance needs and requirements. * Responsible for overseeing the performance of the agents and supporting staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. * Develop business strategies to increase market share profitability. * Maintain relationships with clients to foster business growth. * Analyzing financial performance and preparing budgets. * Overseeing the recruitment, training and management of the brokerage staff. * Requires knowledge of complex insurance products and a variety of lines such as commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and others. * Professional credentials such as CPCU, CIC and Arm required. * Related experience required as these responsibilities and qualifications are essential for an Insurance Broker Manager to effectively manage the insurance operations and ensure the company's compliance with legal standards and in-house policies.
