Examples of our customers: Military Aerospace and Electronics Manufacturing, Medical Devices and Services, and Telecommunications / Photonics and RF Power. With over 55 years of experience, we have a proven track record of increasing product sales for our principals through technologically focused, targeted, synergistic sales efforts. We represent the most reputable companies to ensure customer satisfaction and project quality. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team in service of the Northern & Central New Jersey, Metro New York (5 boros), & Long Island territories. You would be responsible for providing technical product information and solutions against competitive products, helping customers find the right products, doing product demonstrations, and measuring customers' infrastructure with voltage meters. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivated, and a strong understanding of sales techniques. We are looking for someone passionate about helping customers and able to work independently to achieve goals. Our sales reps are required to actively identify and contact new business opportunities to prospect for potential customers using various methods such as direct calling, face to face meetings, and networking across multiple industry functions. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a "hunter" personality. Existing accounts are provided to follow up, conduct measurements, build relationships, and offer technical product knowledge. Responsibilities: * Must be able to dedicate full time 9am-5pm Monday-Friday for this job only. No Part time/sharing multiple jobs during the timeframe. * Reliable car or truck with appropriate insurance * Clean background check, as some of our customers are government contractors or the military and require clean background checks for admittance to their facility * Your own computer with internet access * Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook) * Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills * Excellent sales and customer service skills * Must be able to drive to and from customers * Must be able to move about inside customer locations and take notes to be keyed into CRM software daily [please apply online] * Must be able to position self to merchandise, learn product technical information, and offer products/solutions. Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services, and company operations. * Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues. * Effective planning and organization skills required to schedule appointments appropriately and to meet reporting deadlines. * Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing * Must be able to read from a screen * Must be able to key in all information into CRM website SalesForce.com daily. * Conduct customer presentations, submit opportunities, manages activity reports, and participate in overall company growth strategy * Learn to conduct Desco ESD assessments at customer locations * Attend and participate at local trade shows * Upsell products and services * Daily activity log via email * A company iPhone is provided for work purposes * $62,000 per year salary. Pay period is 1st and 16th of the month. * Plus earn commission on product sales (capital equipment) -Approximate 10 days paid time off for major holidays & sick time -1 week paid vacation available after 4 months of work, and an additional 1 week paid vacation after 8 months of work (total of 2 weeks paid vacation per year). -Travel mileage reimburesement, company EZ Pass is provided for tolls Wilson Industries Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
