Prevail RCM is a start-up revenue cycle company based in Pearland, Texas. We are in search of knowledgeable, self-motivated, and innovative healthcare professionals who are excited to help us grow an empire with limitless opportunities. Position Summary: The Patient Advocate is responsible for maintaining patient rights by educating patients; responding to patient and patient family complaints; resolving patient issues; reporting unresolved issues. Responsibilities: * Resolves inbound calls/complaints by listening to patients and their families. * Documents complaints in the Practice Management Software. * Makes outbound calls to patients regarding open balances. * Create payment plans or offer other financial assistance to patients to resolve balances. * Negotiate balances to recover as much payment as possible. * Handles patient callbacks from voicemail messages received. Qualifications for this position include: * Must speak Spanish. * Professional customer service skills. * Excellent verbal/written communication skills. * Must Type 45 WPM. * Out of Network Benefits Knowledge. * HIPPA Knowledge is a must to protect the patient identity. Training is provided. * Professional phone etiquette. * Must be able to multi-task. * Must be able to interpret and reconcile explanation of payments, and posting summary in Practice Management Software System.
