Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. This role involves working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations in addition to selling, attending meetings and expos and building community relations. Experience in hospitality, catering, and Tripleseat management platform is highly desirable. Responsibilities * Plan and coordinate all aspects of events including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics * Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality * Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best terms * Develop and execute event sale plans to promote events through various channels * Upsell additional services or packages to enhance guest experience and increase revenue * Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown ensuring all details are handled professionally * Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client needs promptly and effectively * Coordinate with catering teams, banquet staff, and other service providers to deliver seamless events * Manage guest services during events to ensure high satisfaction levels * Track event performance metrics and gather feedback for continuous improvement Skills * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and deals * Proven experience in event sales, planning, and management * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations * Effective time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines * Exceptional organizational skills for detailed planning and coordination of event components * Experience in banquet services, catering, restaurant operations, or hotel management is a plus * Ability to manage budgets efficiently while maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling strategies * Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members * Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about creating exceptional events that leave lasting impressions.
