Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment and generator repair. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of various machinery. Your expertise in using power tools and your ability to provide excellent customer service will be essential in this role. Responsibilities * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in equipment and generators. * Perform repairs on diesel engines and other machinery as needed. * Utilize power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. * Conduct routine inspections to ensure machinery is functioning properly. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. * Communicate effectively with management about repair times and schedules. * Assist in sales by providing recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. * Utilize welding and soldering techniques as required for specific repairs. Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role with a focus on equipment repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in diesel engine repair. * Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
