We are currently seeking a Boat / Yacht Mechanic (Mechanical Knowledge) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Boat / Yacht Mechanic at BR Marine, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' yachts. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and engineering background will contribute to our continued success in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of yachts and contribute to the satisfaction of our esteemed customers. Responsibilities: Rigging, Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of yachts to identify mechanical issues and areas requiring repairs or maintenance. Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components of yachts. Installations of Electronics, Repairs, Engine Rigging, Electrical & Mechanical - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE Execute routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other preventive maintenance tasks. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of projects, and adherence to quality standards. Conduct fiberglass work, including repairs and installations, as required. (*not a must) Possess knowledge of electronics and perform installations, repairs, and troubleshooting. Uphold expertise in boat / yacht work, ensuring quality repairs and replacements as needed. Demonstrate proficiency in working with different yacht systems, including engines and all other relevant systems. Source and procure necessary parts, equipment, and supplies for repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Boat / Yacht Mechanic or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of successfully servicing and repairing yachts. Extensive knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other yacht mechanical components. Proficiency in conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on various yacht systems. Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients. Mechanical Engineering knowledge / experience is preferred.
