Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring for Produce Clerks to join the team! Produce Clerks are responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce and floral department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings. They are responsible for proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability. They answer questions from customers about produce and floral products and help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience * Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. * Must pass Math Test * Grocery retail, customer service, and cash handling experience helpful * Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or Willing to take test upon offer. * Must comply with all company policies and requirements * Language: Speak/Read/Write - English * Applicant should be able to reliably commute to work on time. * Must have open availability for various shifts as needed.
